King-Bruwaert House Welcomes New Primary Care Practice to Campus Clinic

King-Bruwaert (K-B) House senior living community is pleased to announce the arrival of a new medical practice on campus, bringing expanded access to primary care services for residents and the surrounding community.

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group Primary Care at Burr Ridge has opened within the community’s newly updated clinic space, offering a convenient and welcoming location for care. The practice is open to both residents and community members, providing easy access to exceptional medical services in a setting designed for comfort and continuity.

The on-campus clinic allows residents to receive care without leaving the building, while also offering ample parking for visiting patients and families.

The practice includes three physicians and one nurse practitioner on site every weekday, ensuring consistent availability and comprehensive support for a wide range of primary care needs. The team includes Vincenzo Bartolomeo, MD, Arsalan Kabir, DO, and Thomas Mallidi, MD.

Shannon Ingram, Practice Manager, noted that individuals seeking a primary care provider are encouraged to schedule an initial appointment for a full evaluation that includes health history, medications, and current care needs. In cases of urgent concerns, patients registered with the practice can be seen promptly in the office, helping ensure timely attention when issues arise.

According to Shannon, the physicians are experienced, caring, and detail-focused. She also emphasized that the clinic is modern and thoughtfully equipped, supporting an approach that is holistic.

The care model is centered on continuity and prevention, with providers maintaining ongoing oversight of each patient’s health. The approach emphasizes proactive follow-up, annual visits, medication management, and coordinated care planning to support long-term wellness.

Shannon added that the team is excited to welcome both new and returning patients, noting that some residents have previously been under the care of these physicians at other locations, further strengthening continuity and familiarity in their care relationships.
